We are looking for a Product Manager to join the growing product team to own one or more products within on an entire ecosystem of software and devices, across web, mobile, tablet and interactive signage. They are a leading Global Supplier of Enterprise Software Systems - 40% of the FTSE 100 companies use my clients products. Ranging from Hardware all the way up to web-based and mobile applications You’ll be working in a small, friendly and very collaborative product team. There’s secure bicycle and motorcycle parking on site, great coffee and free fruit. You’ll report to the Product Director. You will be expected to: ·Work with the Product Director to establish product management processes and tools and help define the long term product vision and strategy ·Manage the roadmap and balance priorities your product ·Obtain and analyse feedback from clients, development, and sales and marketing, and work with the user experience team to manage user research and usability testing activities ·Conduct competitive analysis of alternative products in the market ·Work with user experience designers to ensure best practice design processes are followed ·Manage requirements and trace them throughout the project ·Develop product specifications allowing development to implement the product strategy ·Monitor the development process to ensure the product specifications are accurately followed ·Work remotely with development team in India, as well as travelling to India and the United States several times per year
You should have: ·In-depth understanding of product specifications, including use cases, priorities, requirements, constraints, etc., in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies ·Recent experience in web applications (not web sites) and modern mobile applications (iPhone and/or Android), and if possible, desktop applications on Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X ·Experience with web based product management tools, with recent experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server preferred ·A solid understanding of project management concepts ·Experience of working with user experience and visual designers and a track record in delivering solutions that have a world class user experience ·Demonstrated ability to work remotely with a virtual team or off-shore team ·Client facing experience in sales, marketing, or product management ·Fantastic personal references from direct line manager at previous employers
